Create Pickup
Let’s first understand when to use this feature.
- Primarily, it is used when renters need to pick up packages they’ve been notified about.
- It can also be used when they don’t have their mailbox keys and need to pick up mail.
- Or when someone else picks up the mail on behalf of the renter.
1. Tap ‘Actions’ at the bottom right of your screen to start, and then press the ‘+’ button to add a new pickup.
2. Select the mailbox number, and the associated mail items will be displayed.
* Select the items to be picked up. If only one of several packages is being picked up, select only that package.
3. Obtain the signature of the person picking up the items, note any necessary details in the “note” section, and click ‘Save.’
*A pickup notification is sent for each mail item. For example, if three items are picked up at once, the renter will receive three pickup notifications. Pickup notifications are enabled by default, but if you have deactivated them in the renter’s settings, notifications will not be sent.
** When picking up mail without a mailbox key: If you select the mailbox number and no mail item list appears, leave it as is. You can write “mails from mailbox” or any other necessary note in the “note” section and click ‘Save.’ In this case, a pickup notification will not be sent, even if the notifications are active.
